  Doeas anybody knows what is the nearest point in Croatia where we can take ferry to Silba island ( near Zadar?)
  Can we take our car there too? It seems Silba is no traffic island (?!)

  well, silba is, as far as i know, island where no traffic is allowed, therefore, i would sugegst you to leave you car somewhere on the mainland.

  zadar would be the nearest point to silba. alternatevly, perhaps, if you are comming from directions of istria / rijeka, you may consider ferry to silba via mali losinj.
