  Hey everyone,

  I am planning a 6 day vacation from 26th of Sept to 2nd of Oct. to Hvar. I found a cheap plane ticket to Zagreb so I’m thinking of renting a car from there and driving it all the way to Drvenik and then take the ferry to Sucuraj.

  Now, so far so good…

  The problem is that 30th of Sept is the last day of the high season and therefore I cannot seem to find a ferry  that will take the car and me back to the mainland. I’m flying out on the 2nd, around 4.30 p.m. so the Marco Polo ferry won’t work either.

  there you can find sailing schedule for high and low seasons…
  and I’d recommend taking ferry from Split to Stari Grad, because the roads are terrible on the island, and all important things to visit are around Stari Grad (Hvar, Jelsa, Stari Grad…)

  I am arriving in Dubrovnik 2 weeks from today and plan to drive through Croatia. I need to take a car ferry from Drvenik to Sucaraj on the 4th and from Starigrad or Sucaraj to Split on the 7th. The Jadrolinija Ferry service has no schedules posted as of yet for October so I have no idea how or if I am going to be able to get to Hvar Island when I need to. Does anyone know of an alternate place I look for an updated car ferry schedule for October 2008? I really need to map out drive times and make a reservation in advance if possible.
