  Somebody told me about an island of Susak in the north Adriatic. It’s supposedly to be completely made sand and has big sand beaches.

  Has anyone been there? Is camping allowed?

  Shame, I’ve never been there 
  I know it is sandy island, not sure about camping, but it must be some campsites there

  Hello
  Just returned from jollies in CRO. We’ve been on the island of Unije, and took a day trip to Susak. It is completely made of sand!!! The sandy beach is big a shallow – great for the kids. Not sure about camping sites, it’s only a small island, no space for the camp site, at least we didn’t see one. Hope this helps and let me know if you need further info.
