Pula to Zadar by Ferry, Car Ferry, Catamaran

Grethe M.GuestWe are a family, of 2 adults and 3 children (aged 4, 6, and 11) arriving from Norway to Pula on July 10th, and departing back to Norway from Rijeka on July 25th.
We are staying in Pula until July 12th, moving on to Zadar to spend a week there.
We know there is a plane, but want to know if it can be nice to go by ferry. Perhaps have a one or two-day stop on an island on the way.
Is this possible? Any recommandantions?
Peter2GuestThere was a ferry line that link Pula with Zadar via Mali Losinj, Unije, and Silba islands.
Departure from Pula at 7 am in Mon, Tue, Fri, Sat, Sun. The sailing lasts for about 4.5 Hours.

JakovSpectatorA fast Catamaran ferry line from Pula to Zadar, via Unije Island, Mali Losinj, and Ilovik Island is introduced in mid-summer of 2007.
This is foot passenger only ferry that can take up to 400 passengers. It sails all year round.
Ticket Price: 26 Euro per person – one way Pula – Zadar. To and from Mali Losinj to Pula or Zadar is cheper

JakovSpectatorNot yet. These ferry lines are subsidized by the Croatian government, and timetables come later than usual as they need approvals etc. Sorry.

No ferries from Rab to Zadar. Take bus down the coast. Before that take ferry Jablanac ? Misnjak ferry.The ride lasts for 12 minutes. You buy the tickets before entering the ferry at the charging office.
The line is kept by Rapska Plovidba d.d. Rab. No advance bookings.

No, there is no car ferry from Pula to Zadar or Rijeka to Zadar. You have to drive along the coast.

neil_wotanSpectatorHi – my wife and I hope to travel from Pula to Zadar on the quick catamaran service on June 27. I’ve worked out that one of the services goes at 7 am (arrives midday).
My question is: are we ok to book tickets the day before when we arrive in Pula? The website claims to have an online booking but it doesn’t work; nor does the contact form to email them the question. I’m just aware that it’s only a service so it might be quite busy – but we have to make the connection! is it possible to book this domestic service by phone with a credit card?
