  I am thinking of staying in Rijeka as we need to get to the airport in the morning.  Is it worth staying a night here? If yes, where would we catch the bus from and how long does it take?

  If you don’t think it is worth staying a night in Rijeka can you recommend anywhere nicer outside Rijeka with easy access to Rijeka airport. How long would the journey take?

  Airport Rijeka is situated near Omisalj on island Krk. It is 10 km away from Malinska and 25 km from town Krk. It is abut 40 min drive from Rijeka. You will be much better off to stay at Krk that night as Rijeka is furtherer and more expensive.
