We have a rental car and eventually need to return the car to Bari, Italy. I’ve checked the ferry time tables, but its not very clear if the ferries sail only once a day. Is it possible to travel from Split to Hvar (27 Sept 2010), stay there a while (until the afternoon) then take a next ferry to Korcula, stay there for a night, then take the ferry to Orebic and drive to Dubrovnik?

    Hope someone can help!

There is only one ferry a day from Hvar to Korcula. So if you go to Hvar you have to stay one night and than take the ferry to Korcula the next day, When you come to Korcula you have the ferry from Hvar to Vela Luka.
Then you drive through the whole island to the town Korcula (some 40km) and you have the ferry Korcula (Domin?e) to Orebi? every once in a while.
Check the http://www.jadrolinija.hr and the port in Korcula when you come from Split is Vela Luka. The port in Kor?ila is Domin?e when you go to Orebi?. Might be the reason why it’s hard to find.

I hope this will be of some use.
