The construction of the first four kilometres of the fast road between Split and Trogir, the so-called Kastela motorway, which began early this year, will be completed by the beginning of the tourist season, while the remaining eleven kilometres will be finished by autumn, constructors said. Their job is difficult because of the traffic that has not been temporarily stopped throughout the works, which considerably slows down the construction. In addition, the Kastela motorway is one of the busiest roads in the country with some 30,000 vehicles traveling it on a daily basis.
