    Does anyone know when the summer tourist season officially begins and finishes on the Croatian Islands? 

    I have heard that everything completely shuts down during certain months??

    Well, I don’t know of any “official” dates.
    Summer tourist season usually starts around Easter and finishes at the end of September.
    I never heard that “everything completely shuts down”, it just slows down when tourists are not around.
