  I am looking at travelling from Hvar to Dubrovnik on a day there is no direct ferry from Starigrad, without firstbacktracking to Split and then catching a bus to Dubrovnik.  It appears another option would be to travel from Starigrad to Sucuraj and then catch a ferry to the mainland and then down to Dubrovnik by bus.
  Can anyone tell me how to get from Starigrad to Sucuraj.  Are there regular buses across the island or are there any other options.  Also how long would it take to get from Starigrad to Sucuraj.  Sorry for the longwinded question.

  Bus will leave on the time to catch ferry from Sucuraj. Ask exact timing in local tourist office.
