  Hey!!
  Looking for some local info if anyone can help!!
  We’re planning a trip to the islands and need to arrive from Venice. I’ve been looking at the ferries, and am suprised at how expensive it is (in the region of 120 euros). Does anyone know of another way of getting there that isn’t going to give such a beating to the travel funds? Perhaps by bus? or another type of ferry that is really slow and rubbish!!!

  Which islands do you mean?

  There is busses from Trieste to Istria and you have option to rent a car to get there also.
