Hi… I’m from Portugal and i’m planning a trip to Croatia with 4 of my friends. I definitely want to enjoy the amazing islands and i’m wondering what’s the best way to get around. Originally, we’ll be going to Split and then i’m thinkin’ on getting on a boat from there… But everything is very on the planning side yet, so i’m very open to sugestions. We’re going late June, early July. Tks

    Hi Brian

If you go to Split it is easy to reach the island, Brac , Hvar, Vis and Solta, there are several ferries daily in the main season, you can also reach korcula from Split.

Check Jadrolinija homepage, which is the main ferry company http://www.jadrolinija.hr/ look at the high season schedule.

On the Island you can get around by buses, which is cheap and work quite well.

It you land in Split Airport, take the transfer bus from Croatia Airline, i goes directly to the center of the city.

    Have fun

    Hey,

I had book my holiday in Croatia but I need some help to make sure about my decision.
I’m going to Croatia by Venice, ferry arriving in Pula. I’m gonna spend one day in Pula, next day I wanna go to Pag (Is there any ferry, boat, wich go straith?) or I have to go to Navalja?

I have 5 days to enjoy in there, should I stay these 5 days just in Pag (booking a Hostel from now for 5 days, ’cause I just found one hostel in Pag, I guess it is going to be crowl in summer time, from 01/07 to 07/07) or should I get my bag and go through the islands? If yes, should I book hostel before or are there a lots of options ?

    Thanks for any help!!
