I am very new to this site but I’m looking for information on which islands to visit and how to get to each.
Looking to go in July most probably for around 16 days.
I was thinking about:
Flying to Dubrovnik – Mljet – Korcula – Vis – Hvar – Brac – Split – flying home (with possibly leaving out Vis)
Is this route possible via ferry/boat and how much is it to travel between each island?
Or is there any recommendations for other routes. We are looking for the picturesque qualities but also options for adventure and partying.
We plan to do it on foot backpacking, or would people recommend hiring a car, if this is possible from Dubrovnik to Split?
I no very Little about any of the Islands so any information and suggested routes would be amazing!
Please help!
Your route is possible, good choice, lot of people do this route.
The only thing is, you have to go to Vis from Split as there is no any connection to this island from anywhere else.
There is now ferry connection between Vis and Hvar.
All Croatian Islands are here:

Ferries between islands are all listed at this page:

We would not recommend car hire, it is better to use public transport.
I hope this helps a bit
There is now daily ferry that connects these islands with Dubrovnik and Split – see here:
