Do you think he is right?

We expect record tourist season, says Kalmeta :
Judging by the preliminary results of the first four months of this year, we are going to have a record tourist season. We expect over ten million tourists and an increase by two per cent in the tourist trade and by five per cent in revenues, said Bozidar Kalmeta, Minister of the Sea, Tourism, Transport and Development, who presided a session of the Government?s committee for the coordination and monitoring of the preparatory activities for the tourist season in 2007, held at the Alan Hotel in Starigrad Paklenica. Having mentioned that the tourist trade has increased by 13 pct over the first four months, Kalmeta said no one can say any more that a tourist season lasts only three months.

Do you think he is right?

Does it really matter is tourism figures grows? It doesn’t guarantee anything will be better or worse. I dont like figures, they are boring.

Turism is changing very fast in the whole world. People will come an go as always I don’t care if large turist companies loose money they are like any other large company making profit. We will be ok with lot or less turists never mind.
