  If you go to one of the island, like Vis, Brac or Hvar you can have nice beaches, but nightlife might not be to good this early at the season.

  If you pick larger cites like Split or Zadar you have good nightlife, but beaches are not so nice as on the island (but still ok).

  good weater you should have every where at this time a year.

  Thanks for your comments, this was very useful for me too. I think I would choose Vis, Brac or Hvar, as I prioritize beaches above nightlife when I travel. Are there a lot of special things to see/do in these areas, or would this be mostly for a relaxing/laid-back holiday?
